“After many years of navigating traumatic experiences with numerous counselors and modalities, Christa was able to access some of my root issues in our very first session using compassionate inquiry. I felt such a sense of peace in my mind, soul, and body afterwards, it was amazing! In addition to being highly skilled, Christa is exceptionally kind, gentle, genuine, and approachable. I felt that she understood me in a way that few people have. I highly recommend Christa for anyone attempting to find healing and resolution to their issues!”

“Working with Christa has brought me deep and valuable insights.
She built a safe container in which I was able to explore what was behind my patterns and reactions.
Her patience, compassion and presence, together with acute clarity and laser focused questions, have been an asset for me to build on. She respected my pace, gave space when I needed and was able to follow my fast speed processing at other moments.”

“The sessions I have taken with Christa have been very helpful to me and she has created a safe and supportive therapy space where i have been able to open up about things that I struggle with. This has enabled me to come out of problems I’ve been stuck with for a long time in my mind. I highly recommend Christa as a therapist.”

Bjarni V

“Christa is a very friendly, empathetic therapist, who gives you the space to realize your own insights during your session. She guides very well, and brings you back when you get too far away from clear connections between behaviour and thought patterns in the present and events in the (far) past / childhood. Her help has enriched my life. I am very happy that I met her at the right time.”

Francien d J

“Working with Christa has been an incredibly transformative experience. From our first session, it was evident that she possesses an unparalleled ability to attune and hold a beautiful safe and empathetic space. Through Christa’s guidance, I’ve experienced transformative healing.”

Elizabeth B (United States)

“In a pretty rough period of my life, Christa and I held some therapy sessions online.
The meetings were my safe place in a period of profound crisis : they were grounding, warm, soul nourishing, extremely professional (accepting, supportive, gentle) and very helpful. It was like a strong but soft hand holding and guiding me at that moment. Guiding me to my own peace and calm.
Christa has a very human based approach and soothing energy. Highly recommended and forever grateful.”

Yana S

“I am truly grateful for these session with Christa. Her gentle presence, her kind and calm compassion allowed me to go deeper into my beliefs. Thanks to her I found compassion for myself and let go of some self-judgement and self-doubts.”

Sylvia T

“As a therapist, Christa possesses a unique ability to create a nurturing and non-judgmental space. Her safe, clear, and conscious approach has allowed me to explore and relax into aspects of myself that I would otherwise avoid or overlook. This has led to deep insights and significant shifts, enabling me to not just live, but also express myself more freely and authentically in this world. I am ever grateful for this, and I know that Christa’s beautiful combination of expertise and heart make her a blessing for anyone navigating life’s stormy challenges.”

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a deep process which aims to uncover what we can’t see ourselves. Blind spots formed since childhood prevent us from being fully ourselves, including limiting beliefs, repressed patterns, traumas, denials, and unconscious mechanisms.

For psychotherapy to be successful, commitment and regularity is essential. It’s an ongoing process that unfolds over regular sessions, through a verbal and non-verbal dialogue.

By establishing mutual trust and insight between therapist and client, deep work and strong commitment can be life changing and supportive.

What psychotherapy is not? It’s not…
A quick fix

Just about being listened to

Superficial support

A one-session process

Rather, it’s…

Deep work

A process that requires regularity and commitment from both you and your therapist

About supporting you in exploring and uncovering your truth in an effective and direct way

About changing your perception of things in a deep and effective way which transforms every aspect of your life

How I work

Ideally, we will work together for a minimum of 3 months to give us enough time for the work to take effect.

Before the first appointment, we will have an initial call to see if I’m the right therapist for you. It’s also important for you to understand what you can expect from our work together.

Each regular weekly therapy session lasts for 60 minutes, either in person or via Zoom.

If necessary, you can also receive additional email support throughout our work together.

Ideally, I schedule weekly sessions on the same day and time to ensure regularity and consistency for you.

Before our work starts, I will send out a therapy contract which you must read and sign. This helps to create a safe and consistent container for our therapy work together.

All sessions must be paid for in full before our appointed meeting time.

Who I am

I have over 25 years of personal experience offering different therapy modalities. Attending group and individual retreats for over a decade has given me great experiences of introspection and patience.

My yoga and meditation practice brings me alignment, presence, balance and enhances my listening skills and presence.

Coming from a multi-cultural family background, I’ve travelled extensively, making me open and curious about other cultures and ways of living and being.

Working as a flight attendant for more than a decade has also enhanced my understanding of company related topics.

Through my therapy sessions, I bring good listening skills, presence, empathy, patience, insight, emotional intelligence, and a good feeling and understanding of what is going on for the client.
